Brimsangen, Uberwald

The town and barony of Brimsangen is small but important; its riverside position at the confluence of the Schwarzblud and Donnerfeuer rivers in the Bluddurst Valley makes boating trade possible, and being the nexus of a road network gives it importance as a minor centre of commerce.

The town (population approximately 250) is centred around the Market Square, where a weekly market is helf; rumour has it that in the back of the less reputable marquees and stalls, the handymen of vampires, mad scientists and graverobbers do trade in people. The market is overseen by the Commerce Master, Elias George.

There is a small Omnian Mission in the town; it is run by the Actually-Pretty-Reverend Hussey, with the assistance of the Not-Quite-So-Reverend Adams. The third Omnian, Scarcely-At-All-Reverend Matthews, was told to integrate with the townsfolk. He has done so, to the point where he considers the Omnians to be a pain in the arse. The Mission is tolerated, and even pitied, by the locals - their total number of converts currently stands at -1.

The land surrounding Brimsangen is owned by the Eldritch Barons of Brimsangen. Schloss Eldritch, the ancestral family home, lies Turnwise of the town, in the mountains.

Counterturnwise of the town lies the impenetrable Totenschwein Forest, so called after a herd of pigs, left to roam in the forest, were found the next morning stripped of flesh.

Rimwards-Turnwise of the town, a road climbs the Bluddurst mountains and winds its way through the peaks until it reaches the werecreature lands of Piamentin. Turnwise, up the trackless banks of the Schwarzblud river, lie the vampire regoins of the powerful Dread Counts of Bruhn, the main political adversaries of the Eldritch Barony.
