Welcome to Different Colours, a place where you can read my philosophical musings, random wibbles, day-to-day happenings, fiction snippets and so on. I'll do my best to keep it up to date and interesting; in return, I'd appreciate any feedback you can give me.
If you know any of the people here, all well and good. If you don't, consider them a series of nodes connected to the memetic representation of my good self. Ultimately, it doesn't matter - they could be, and to you are, anyone. Like a particle physicist, by reading these pages you are inferring their existence and properties by their effects on an observable HTML writer.
Likewise, if you're offended by your presence here, I don't care. This is a place for my thoughts and opinions. I try to be honest, because otherwise there's no point. Our mutual acquaintances probably know anything mentioned here already, unless you're being less honest than I, and people who know one or neither of us don't matter.
Having gotten the disclaimers and introduction out of the way, I invite you to click on an entry from the calendar - the interface will be neatened once I get some decent web hosting. If you want to know more about the people, you can pop back to my homepage to find out about me, or visit the cast page to find out about those mentioned herein.

The title, Different Colours, is from the lyrics to the Velvet Underground's song, "Venus in Furs". The lyric runs as follows:
I am tired, I am weary
I could sleep for a thousand years
A thousand dreams that would awake me
Different colors made of tears
The Velvet Underground are a top-notch band, and well worth a listen.
Different Colours is part of the Torn Curtains webring.
