Back on the Thrill-Trail
First of all, a point about web hosting. I'm fed up with 8k.com, and so I'm
looking to move. I've been offered an account on uber-geek box chiark, and fellow
Goats Fan Katzmeister has also offered to let me have an account on one of his
boxen. Ideally, I'd want somewhere with PHP and MySQL for dev work, CGI scripts
and other bits and bobs. I'm thinking about it, and I'll keep you up to date...
seems that my dreams of my own colocated box have been put on hold for the time
being, mind.
Things at work are picking up. After the COTS we bought to manage the company's
appointments failed to match up to standards, I've been asked to source out a
replacement. I can't find anything suitable, so I'm doing my own. Back into the
fray! Pseudocoding, real coding, bug fixing, searching on CPAN... I'm a happy boy
today. I'm not bored.
And I'm DJing tonight - a 90 minute set because Mark's ill. Should be fun.
