Grimoire's Hobbies and Activities

Ok... I play bass in a band called The Long Slide. We're a post-industrial rock band, and we kick arse. You can download some of our stuff from mp3.com and see what you think.

I spend a lot of time playing and writing roleplaying games. Hopefully I shall put some roleplaying links in here before too long. I play a lot of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and Shadowrun, and a few proprietary systems.

I've got a more-than-passing interest in goth music and the goth scene in the UK. I've finally decided to put my (possibly contraversial) view on goth online, and you can get to it here. Back on my main page there's a link to my Manchester net.goth guide, and here's another one. This should be mostly of interest to readers of newsgroups like uk.people.gothic.

I spend a lot of my time on newsgroups ranting, and I'm starting to collect some of my favorite rants for your edification and entertainment. Not many here at the moment, but more will be added!

As High Inquisitor Grimoire, I'm part of the Dark Knight Clan, run by Datalas. We play mainly Quake and Quake 2 'cos my machine's pretty poo, though Unreal and Half-Life tempt us away at times. Habitually we LAN game because it's cheaper, though Datalas and Dooferlad will occasionally be found on the 'net, as will I in affluent weeks.
